LATAM Airlines group has posted a 7.7% increase in traffic in March compared with the same period in 2012.
Capacity increased 4.2% and the load factor rose 2.5 percentage points to 76.9%.
Domestic passenger traffic in Chile, Argentina, Peru, Ecuador and Colombia rose 14.9%, as capacity increased 13%, resulting in a 1.3 percentage point increase in the domestic load factor to 78.3%.
Domestic passenger traffic in Brazil rose 3.8%, as capacity decreased 11%, which resulted in a 10.4 percentage point increase in load factor to 73.1%.
International passenger traffic rose 8.1%, with capacity up 13.3%, resulting in a 3.8 percentage point fall in the international load factor to 78.7%. International traffic includes the international operations of both LAN and TAM on regional and long haul routes.
Cargo traffic for LATAM Airlines Group rose 0.4% against capacity growth of 3.5%. The cargo load factor fell by 1.8 percentage points to 60.1%.
