Indonesia's Lion Air has agreed to take four aircraft from Dublin-based lessor AWAS.

The airline is leasing three Boeing 737-800s and a single Airbus A320.

"These are new aircraft that the airline had purchased directly from the respective manufacturers," says AWAS. It adds that it is "providing a financing solution" for all four, and placing them on long-term leases.

AWAS states that the first is due to be delivered this week.
