EasyJet will launch a new route between Liverpool and Larnaca, its first scheduled link to Cyprus, as part of its winter schedule, after signing a new nine year commercial agreement with John Lennon airport.
The service will be operated twice weekly from 2 November.
A further four routes will to be added to the Luton-based low-cost carrier's UK network as part of its 2013/14 winter schedule.
The airline will resume flights between London Gatwick and Bucharest after several years' hiatus, with a new four-times-weekly service from 17 October.
A new route from London Luton to Venice Marco Polo will be opened on 13 February. The four-times-weekly service will complement London Gatwick and Southend services to the Italian destination.
Lyon-Manchester services will commend on 14 December. On this route, EasyJet will compete with Flybe, Jet2, Monarch, Thomas Cook and Thomson Airways.
EasyJet will also add a twice-weekly Newcastle-Tenerife service from 6 November.
