Star Alliance carrier Lufthansa is opening two new Eastern European routes from Munich as part of its summer schedule.
The carrier is to serve the Estonian capital Tallinn and the Croatian city of Zadar, and will also open a domestic connection from Munich to Rostock.
"In economically-difficult times it is particularly important to include more attractive destinations to our timetable," says Lufthansa's Munich hub management head Thomas Kluhr.
Lufthansa will serve Tallinn daily from 26 March with Airbus A319s, while Zadar will be served weekly by subsidiary CityLine's Bombardier CRJ900s. CityLine will also use CRJ900s to operate to Rostock at weekends.
