Lufthansa Technik has carried out its first Boeing 777 freighter C-check for Leipzig-based cargo operator AeroLogic.
On top of routine inspections, Lufthansa Technik performed some minor technical modifications and dismantled the cargo loading system for overhaul.
The 777F had been in service with AeroLogic for one year and Lufthansa Technik will receive a second 777F from the cargo carrier under their technical support agreement in late July.
This month's C-check was Lufthansa Technik's first heavy maintenance operation for a 777 freighter.
AeroLogic, which intends to operate eight 777Fs by the end of 2010, is a 50:50 joint venture between DHL Express and Lufthansa Cargo.
