Hjoerdis Stahl has quit her role at the helm of Luxair's cargo division.

After five years as LuxairCargo's executive vice-president, Stahl is leaving to run Luxembourg's postal service P&T. She will depart the airline on 1 July.

Luxair director general Adrien Ney credits Stahl with limiting volume decline and stabilising operations in the wake of the 2008 economic and financial crisis.

Ney is to take over Stahl's duties, assisted by customer-relations head Jean-Claude Kowalsky and operational chief Laurent Erhard.
