Independent financial advisory and investment firm Magi Partners has recruited Sean Cleghorn.

Cleghorn, who becomes a partner at Magi, has worked for more than 20 years in aircraft leasing and finance.

Founding partner John Sharman, who formerly headed Spectrum Capital, says Cleghorn brings a wealth of experience and will strengthen Magi’s capabilities in the highly critical areas of finance and leasing: “Sean will enable us to offer clients a broader range of services and investment opportunities.”

Magi was established in London last year by Sharman, ex-Babcock & Brown partner Peter Vardigans and consultant Chris Tarry.

The firm specialises in arranging finance for airlines, the broader aviation industry and other transportation sectors.
