Malaysia Airlines' chief financial officer, Rozman bin Omar, has resigned from his position at the carrier.

The airline attributed his resignation to a desire to "pursue employment in another company", in a Kuala Lumpur stock exchange statement.

Malaysia Airlines has yet to name his replacement. Rozman will leave the carrier on 31 July.
