Malaysia Airlines (MAS) has reiterated that it is on track to receive its first Airbus A380 in the first half of next year, quelling speculations of yet another delay.
The airline said that it has not been notified of any delay by Airbus.
"The preparations for the A380 operations are still on track and Malaysia Airlines is expected to launch the product in July 2012," added the airline.
The carrier made the statement after local media reported that the airline's new management was reconsidering the A380's cabin configuration. That, added the report, could result in a delay.
The airline has six A380s on order, the first of which is due to be received in April 2012.
