Malaysia Airlines (MAS) will further increase the frequency of flights from Kuala Lumpur to Chennai on 5 January 2013.

The carrier will boost the route's frequencies from 11 times weekly to twice daily.

Previously, MAS announced that it would add four weekly flights, raising the frequency on the route to 11 times a week from 1 September 2012.

MAS will deploy 737-800 aircraft on the route for the four additional weekly flights and later for the twice daily service starting next year.
