Malaysia Airlines will re-introduce its direct flights between Sandakan and Kuala Lumpur from 18 February.

The move is so as to meet existing and growing demand for premium direct full service connectivity between Sandakan and Kuala Lumpur International airport's (KLIA) main terminal, said the airline.

According to Innovata schedules, AirAsia is the only airline operating on the route.
