Malaysia Airports extends tenure of managing director

Malaysia's ministry of finance has extended the contract of Malaysia Airports' managing director, Bashir Ahmad Abdul Majid by another year from 7 June.

Prior to his appointment, Bashir was the aviation advisor to the ministry of transport.

Bashir is the president of the Asia-Pacific's Airport Council International (ACI) and a member of the world governing board of ACI.

He is a member of the board of four international airports, namely Hyderabad International Airport, Delhi International Airport, Sabiha Gokcen International Airport and Male International Airport.
