Malaysia's Berjaya Air will be launching services to the resort islands of Pangkor and Langkawi.

The carrier will start four weekly services on the Subang-Langkawi route using an ATR 72 on 18 November, said an airline official.

It will launch a thrice weekly Subang-Pangkor service using a Bombardier Dash 7 from 25 November.

Schedules in Innovata show that Berjaya Air will be the only operator on the Subang-Pangkor route and will compete with Malaysia Airlines' subsidiary Firefly on the Subang-Langkawi route.

Subang is Kuala Lumpur's secondary airport.
