Hungarian flag carrier Malev plans to begin flights from Budapest to the Libyan capital Tripoli.

Malev is aiming to launch a four-weekly Boeing 737-600 service on the route on 23 October.

Tripoli Airport is currently closed following months of civil unrest in Libya.

However, Malev said it believes that civil air transport in Libya "will start again in two months".
