Malindo Air will launch its first international service on 28 August with daily flights from Kuala Lumpur to Dhaka.
The carrier will deploy Boeing 737-900ER aircraft on the route.
Innovata schedules show that the Malaysia-based airline will compete with United Airways, Biman Bangladesh Airlines and Malaysia Airlines on the Kuala Lumpur-Dhaka route.
For the rest of 2013, the carrier will take delivery of another five aircraft - two ATR 72s in July, another in August and two 737s in September - to form a fleet of ten. It plans to grow its fleet size to 100 aircraft within a decade.
