Taiwan's Mandarin Airlines, a subsidiary of China Airlines, plans to launch a weekly Taichung-Changsha service on 3 July.

It will also double the frequency of the Taichung-Okinawa route to four times weekly from 1 June, says an official from parent China Airlines.

Mandarin Airlines will use Embraer 190 on the new route and additional services.

Changsha is the capital of the south-central Hunan province.
