Greg May has joined Delta Air Lines as senior vice president of aircraft parts operations.

May joins from aircraft trading investment company Q Aviation, which he founded in 2003. He built a portfolio of more than 100 aircraft and secured loans in excess of $ 2 billion.

May held several airline positions prior to leading Q Aviation.

He started his career with United Airlines in the treasury department. Between 2000 and 2003, he was vice president of purchasing at Northwest Airlines.
