MCAP acquires 737 for Nok Air lease

MC Aviation Partners (MCAP) has purchased a new Boeing 737-800 from Air Berlin to place it on lease to Thai's Nok Air.

The aircraft (MSN 37774) is powered by CFM International CFM56-7B24E engines.

The acquisition was financed internally, says MCAP, and the operating lease term is 12 years.

According to Flightglobal's Ascend Online database, Nok Air operates nine 737-800s, six 737-400s and three ATR 72s.
