Mesaba Aviation, which flies as a Northwest Airlink feeder, has taken over the long-troubled turboprop operator Big Sky Airlines for $3.5 million. Mesaba insists that Big Sky's fleet of 15 19-seater turboprops will be operated separately to Mesaba.
