Mexico's OMA records growth in November traffic

Mexican airport operator Grupo Aeroportuario del Centro Norte (OMA) has reported a 6.4% growth in passenger traffic to 974,148 passengers across its 13 airports.

Domestic traffic rose 9.2% to 832,660 passengers, while international traffic declined 7.5% to 141,488 passengers, said OMA.

Domestic traffic grew in 11 of OMA's 13 airports in November, with the highest growths recorded in Reynosa, Tampico and Ciudad Juarez.

In the international traffic market, passenger numbers grew the most in Zacatecas, which posted a 56.6% increase and in Monterrey, which recorded a 4.3% growth. The airport noted that four new routes to the two airports were launched in November.
