Mexico’s ASUR posts 13.1% growth in November traffic

Mexican airport operator Grupo Aeroportuario del Sureste (ASUR) has reported growth of 13.1% in passenger traffic to 1.52 million in November across its nine airports.

Domestic traffic rose 12.3% to 714,000 passengers, while international traffic increased 13.8% to 803,000.

The airports at Cancun, Oaxaca and Minatitlan posted the highest growths in domestic traffic, with Cancun recording a 20.1% increase in domestic traffic to 304,000.

On the international front, the airports at Villahermosa, Merida and Cancun posted the strongest growth, says ASUR.
