Turkish maintenance provider MNG Technic has converted an Airbus A300-600 into a freighter for its sister company MNG Airlines.

In 2011, the Istanbul-based group took over the modification STC from B/E Aerospace's engineering subsidiary Flight Structures, and acquired three former China Southern Airlines' A300-600s (MSN734, MSN739 and MSN756) for conversion.

All three aircraft were scheduled to be employed by MNG Airlines.

The aircraft, which has been completed, is believed to be the first to leave the in-house conversion programme. However, MNG Technic could not be immediately reached for comment.
