Monarch Airlines launches sixth UK base at Leeds Bradford

Monarch Airlines launched its sixth UK base at Leeds Bradford airport in northern England on 9 July.

The airline will launch 12 new routes at the base for its summer 2013 schedule, as well as continuing its Leeds Bradford-Munich flights on a thrice weekly basis.

The new routes include twice weekly flights each to Antalya, Barcelona, Bodrum, Dalaman, Heraklion, Larnaca, Lanzarote, Menorca, Rome and Tenerife.

The service to Bodrum will only be operated between 22 July - 16 September.

In addition to these, the airline will also start thrice weekly service to Faro and four times weekly service to Majorca.

All the new routes will start in March 2012.
