Monarch Airlines has created new three directorships as part of a management reshuffle.
The UK-based airline has appointed Marisa Blasco as director of revenue and network development, Tim Williamson as director of customer experience and marketing, and Adrian Tighe as director of commercial partnerships and business development.
Blasco is currently pricing and yield management director for car-hire company Hertz and previously worked for Iberia and the now-defunct Clickair. Wiliamson was until recently chief executive of private tour operator Travel Department, while Tighe joins from Transport and Borders, a part of UK security firm G4S.
Monarch says the new positions replace the role of commercial director previously held by Jochen Schnadt, as well as covering some additional responsibilities.
The airline has also appointed two new non-executive directors: Austin Reid, a former BMI chief executive; and Roy McNulty, currently chairman of Gatwick airport, from which Monarch operates a number of routes.
