Monarch Group appoints two non-executive directors

The Monarch Group has appointed former Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) chairman Roy McNulty and former BMI chief executive Austin Reid as non-executive directors, effective July.

McNulty is currently deputy chairman of the Olympic Delivery Authority and a non-executive director of Gatwick airport.

He was executive chairman of National Air Traffic Services (NATS) from 1999-2011 and subsequently chairman of the CAA.

Austin Reid is currently a non-executive director of SR Technics. He has held several senior management roles at BMI, including managing director and chief executive from 1995-2005.

Additionally, Richard Roth has joined the company as group director of performance management and turnaround.

Roth has held management roles in the airline industry for the past 13 years, most recently serving as CFO at Abu Dhabi-based luxury private jet operator Royal Jet.
