Mooney Airplane has delivered its 11,000th production aircraft, an Ovation2 GX to a private customer. The high-performance piston single was handed over on 23 February at the manufacturer’s Kerville, Texas base. Mooney delivered its first aircraft in 1948 from its original base at Wichita, Kansas.
