Israel flag carrier El Al has purchased Boeing's maintenance performance toolbox to improve maintenance efficiency on its Boeing fleet.
El Al will use the software modules to improve its airline dispatch reliability. These tools allow El Al to customise maintenance documents with data specific to the aircraft.
"Using Toolbox will enhance our maintenance activities by providing better plans and information to our technicians," says Shmuel Kuzi, El Al's vice president, maintenance and engineering. "Safety, reliability and efficiency are key responsibilities in serving our customers."
El Al operates 17 next-generation Boeing 737s, six 747-400s, a 747-400 freighter, eight 767s and six 777-200ERs.
