Denmark-based Jet Time has received the second of four new ATR 72-600s under an operating lease contract with Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC).
The aircraft (MSN 1121) will immediately be used for an ACMI wet-lease contract with Scandinavian Airlines.
NAC financed the delivery using a commercial debt facility provided by German bank KfW IPEX-Bank. That facility covers three ATR 72-600s.
Charter carrier Jet Time, which operates Boeing 737-300/400s and -700s for ACMI services, agreed to wet-lease four new ATR 72-600s to SAS in April 2013. At the time, it signed a preliminary agreement covering four aircraft of the type for a period of three years. Another two aircraft are on option.
Jet Time is also due to receive two ATR 72-600s from Air Lease in April and May.
