French bank Natixis is the financier behind a recent Airbus A330-300 delivery to operating lessor Avolon, sources indicate.
The bank provided a commercial loan covering the new A330-300, which was acquired by the Irish-based lessor under a purchase-and-leaseback agreement with Garuda Indonesia.
The aircraft, MSN 1548, is part of a four-aircraft transaction. The second aircraft is due next month, says Avolon. Another delivery is planned for November and the last unit is due in December.
Garuda is to take delivery of five A330-300s in 2015, seven in 2016 and the remaining unit in 2017.
