Embraer has mated the wing and fuselage for the first of the three prototype Legacy 500 midsize executive jets it has in production.

Systems installation is underway for the first aircraft, which is also having its vertical and horizontal stabilizers, cabin door, rudder and elevator assemblies fitted. Its Honeywell HTF7500E turbofans have been delivered to the assembly facility, said Embraer.
