Sukhoi's civil aircraft division has appointed a new president, Andrei Vladimirovich Kalinovsky, who will take up the post within days.
The decision follows a regular board meeting at the airframer. Sukhoi says current president Vladimir Prisyazhnyuk's employment contract term has expired.
Kalinovsky, a former head of the Novosibirsk aircraft production facility NAPO, will take up his new post on 1 February and oversee the Superjet 100 programme.
He had previously served as first vice-president at the airframer's Komsomolsk operation.
Sukhoi Civil Aircraft says the change is important as the company prepares to increase production rates and expand its product lines.
Prisyazhnyuk will move to a new position within the larger Sukhoi organisation. United Aircraft president Mikhail Pogosyan has been elected as chairman of the board for the Sukhoi civil division.
