Port Authority of New York and New Jersey has changed the name of Newark
airport in commemoration of the victims of 11 September.
New Jersey airport – a hub for Continental Airlines - will now be known as
Newark Liberty International Airport. New York governor George Pataki and New
Jersey governor James McGreevey requested the change.
