Thai low-cost carrier Nok Air has received two additional Boeing 737-800s, increasing the total number of the type it has to six.

The fifth aircraft, registered as HS-DBE, is on lease from GE Capital Aviation Services, while the sixth, registered as HS-DBG, is leased from SMBC Aviation Capital, says Nok Air.

Both aircraft have 189 seats in a single-class configuration and will be used on domestic routes.

Flightglobal's Ascend Online database shows that Nok Air operates two ATR 72-200 aircraft, and 13 Boeing 737-400s and -800s.
