Norwegian start-up carrier Flynonstop will launch flights from Kjevik airport, Kristiansand to London City airport on 25 April.
The virtual airline will operate the route five times weekly in conjunction with Dutch carrier Denim Air.
A 100-seat Embraer 190 will be deployed on the service.
Speaking to Flightglobal in October 2012, Flynonstop's owner, Espen Hennig-Olsen, said the airline will target small airports which have been overlooked by Scandinavia's dominant carriers.
Its planned route network also includes Barcelona, Berlin, Dubrovnik, Nice, Paris, Palma de Majorca and Parma.
