China's Okay Airways has taken delivery of a Boeing 737-800 on lease from ILFC.
The aircraft (registration B-5841) fulfils a lease for one of the type that the airline and lessor signed in July 2012.
"The Asia aviation market especially the China market is booming, Okay Airways is one of the fastest growing airlines," says Wang Shusheng, chairman of Tianjin-based Okay, in a statement. The leased aircraft will allow the airline to start more routes, he adds.
The carrier already has nine 737-800s, one 737-300 converted freighter and nine Xian MA60 turboprops in its fleet with the delivery, Flightglobal's Ascend Online database shows.
