Oman Air has begun codesharing with SriLankan Airlines linking service between the countries and to onward destinations in Europe and Asia.
Under the agreement Oman Air passengers will be able to book seats on SriLankan's flights linking the Omani capital Muscat with Singapore, Male and China via Colombo. While SriLankan passengers will gain access to Oman Air's flight linking Colombo to Zurich via Muscat.
"This new agreement will increase both choice and convenience for customers," says Oman Air chief executive Wayne Pearce. "It allows Oman Air’s customers to book with us to fly to Singapore and increases available connections from Colombo to Male.
Oman Air resumed flights to the Sri Lankan capital Colombo in November 2009 after a five-year break.
