Four countries that had banned Turkish carrier Onur Air have lifted their landing restrictions on the airline after reaching an agreement on safety measures.
Dutch authorities withdrew the charter carrier's landing rights in May after routine inspections raised concerns about its aircraft. Civil aviation regulators in Germany, France and Switzerland followed suit.
Switzerland's civil aviation authority FOCA says: "The countries concerned held intensive discussions with Onur Air and the Turkish authorities." FOCA says the talks aimed to establish a procedure to ensure Onur Air's aircraft would be able to pass repeated safety inspections at European airports.
