Russian charter specialist Orenburg Airlines appears to be pursuing the introduction of three Boeing 777 aircraft.
While declining to identify their source, a spokesman for the carrier, which operates under the brand Orenair, says it expects to receive the jets over the next year.
International tour operator Pegas Touristik acts as a sales agent for Orenair and accounts for the bulk of its cross-border traffic.
The carrier last year transported almost 1.4 million travellers internationally, a 60% increase from 2008, and ranked as Russia's sixth-largest in terms of passenger numbers.
Orenair has just taken delivery of its ninth Boeing 737-800 with one more of the type due to arrive before 2011.
