Middle Eastern carrier Gulf Air is to codeshare with French national rail operator SNCF across a range of destinations in France.
Gulf Air detailed the agreement, which covers 19 destinations, at the Paris Air Show today.
Passengers will be able to travel through a single ticket enabling smooth transfer between Gulf Air flights and codeshared SNCF high-speed trains.
Gulf Air serves Paris Charles de Gaulle nine times per week. "France is a key premium market for Gulf Air and this will further strengthen our presence in the country," says chief executive Bjorn Naf.
Among the destinations included in the codeshare are Montpellier, Aix en Provence, Bordeaux, Lille, Nantes, Nimes, Poitiers and Strasbourg.
