PARIS AIR SHOW: Woodward's PurePower role extended

Hamilton Sundstrand has selected Woodward Governor to provide high- and low-pressure stator vane actuators and oil valve packages for the Pratt & Whitney PurePower engine programme. This includes the new PW1000 engine for the Mitsubishi MRJ regional jet and the Bombardier CSeries single-aisle aircraft families, as well as an Advanced Turbofan engine. Last year Woodward won a contract to supply the fuel nozzles for the PurePower engine. It expect its programme involvement to yield total revenue of more than $500 million over 20 years.
