Brazilian airframer Embraer has announced three more orders for 17 aircraft at the Paris air show - to airline Kenya Airways and to lessors Air Lease and GECAS - taking its total at the show to date to 39 aircraft worth $1.7 billion.

Kenya has signed a letter of intent to take 10 E-190s, with a further 10 aircraft as options, while GECAS is taking two E-190s and Air Lease five E-190s.

These deals add to the already announced sales of 20 E-190s to Indonesian carrier Sriwijaya and two E-190s to Air Astana.

Embraer's commercial backlog now stands at 270 aircraft.
