Spanish lessor HGI Capital has ordered 20 ATR 72-600s for Brazilian regional carrier Passaredo.
HGI has committed to 10 firm orders and 10 options in a deal valued at $482 million at list prices.
HGI also plans to invest in Passaredo. The deal is subject to approval by Brazil's civil aviation authority (ANAC).
"The ATR 72-600 is clearly the aircraft best suited to meet our operational requirements," says Luiz Felicio, chief executive of Passaredo, at the Paris Air Show today.
Flightglobal's Ascend Online database shows that the airline operates two ATR 72-500s and four ATR 72-600s. It has orders for 10 ATR 72-600s and options for an additional 10.
