Japanese low-cost carrier Peach Aviation will begin flights on five routes from Osaka's Kansai International airport.
It will begin twice daily flights to Nagasaki from 25 March and to Kagoshima from 1 April.
The airline will launch services to Okinawa's Naha, Hong Kong International and Taiwan Taoyuan International airports this year.
According to the Innovata schedules, no other carrier operates flights on the Osaka-Nagasaki and Osaka-Kagoshima routes.
However, Peach Aviation will compete with Air Nippon, ANA and JAL Express, Air India, Cathay Pacific Airways, China Airlines, EVA Air and JAL on the routes to Okinawa Naha, Hong Kong International and Taiwan Taoyuan International airports, data in the Innovata schedules show.
