Japanese low-cost carrier Peach Aviation plans to launch a twice daily Fukuoka-Okinawa service on 19 July.

The airline will use Airbus A320 aircraft on the route.

With the route’s launch, Peach will also establish Okinawa as its second hub after Osaka Kansai airport. The carrier flies to Osaka, Ishigaki and Taipei from Okinawa.

Innovata schedules show that Peach will compete with All Nippon Airways, Japan Transocean Air and Skymark Airlines on the Fukuoka-Okinawa route.
