Turkish carrier Pegasus Airlines is to open services to Frankfurt and Madrid ahead of the summer season.

The carrier says it will begin flights to the cities from Istanbul's secondary Sabiha Gokcen airport towards the end of March.

Pegasus already operates to six other German destinations - Berlin, Düsseldorf, Cologne, Munich, Nuremberg and Stuttgart - and serves Barcelona in Spain.
