US business aviation services company Pentastar Aviation has completed a full retrofit of a VIP McDonnell Douglas MD-81 featuring a complete cabin management system from Flight Display Systems.
The MD-81 cabin has two distinct customer seating areas that allow the VIP passenger to either relax in business class seats with upgraded leather upholstery, or work at shared table spaces that allow for in-flight business meetings.
Each passenger seat can also have direct access to the Flight Display Moving Map, which provides real-time flight information, so they will always know the current flight status.
Each seat is also equipped with a two-button OLED controller providing individual audio and video selections.
