Philippine Airlines (PAL) plans to raise frequencies on two of its services to Tokyo Narita starting 15 December.

PAL will add two daily services to its Manila-Tokyo Narita route, raising the total frequency to thrice daily. It also intends to raise the Cebu-Tokyo Narita frequency from six to 14 times weekly, according to its network schedule.

Flightglobal’s FlightMaps Analytics shows that the carrier deploys Boeing 777-300ER aircraft on the Manila-Tokyo Narita route and Airbus A330 on the Cebu-Tokyo Narita route.

In addition, sister carrier PAL Express plans to raise the Manila-Cagayan de Oro frequency from 32 to 35 times weekly starting 4 January 2014.

FlightMaps data also shows that PAL is the only operator on the Cebu-Tokyo Narita route and it competes with All Nippon Airways, Delta Air Lines, Japan Airlines and Jetstar Airways on the Manila-Tokyo Narita route.
