Philippine carrier Zest Airways has launched a twice-weekly service on the Calibo-Seoul Incheon route, and plans services to Singapore, China, and Japan.

The Calibo-Incheon service will be doubled to four-times-weekly from 20 December, says a Zest Airways spokesman. Calibo is a one hour drive from the popular Philippine resort destination of Boracay.

The carrier also plans to launch a five-times-weekly service on the Manila-Singapore route from 29 January 2010. By the middle of 2010, it plans to launch services from Manila to Shanghai, Fukuoka, and Osaka.

"We have yet to determine the launch dates and frequencies of our planned China and Japan routes," says the spokesman.

The carrier will operate Airbus A320 aircraft on all its international services.
