Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has invited bids for the purchase up to 10 used narrowbody aircraft.
According to the terms of the tender, the Karachi-based carrier is seeking aircraft manufactured in 1996 or later, with deliveries scheduled through June 2014.
Bids have to be submitted by 4 October.
PIA also has two tenders due 23 September.
The carrier is asking for six-years dry lease proposals for up to 10 narrowbody aircraft in a 140-seat plus configuration. PIA has specified that the aircraft must be manufactured in 2004 or later, with deliveries scheduled through the end of 2014.
It also has invited bids for wetlease of four narrowbody aircraft for two months with an option to extend. Aircraft must be manufactured in 2000 or later, with deliveries to commence immediately.
According to Flightglobal's Ascend online database, PIA's fleet includes six ATR 42-500s, 12 Airbus A310-300s, three Boeing 737-300s, four 747-300s and nine 777s.
