Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is seeking to wet lease two widebody aircraft.

The carrier has issued a tender calling for interested parties to bid for the lease of two 300-400 seat jets.

According to the terms of the tender, the aircraft will be leased for a 70-day period, or a guaranteed block of 600h per aircraft. This will be in two periods between 9 September and 9 October, and between 19 October and 18 November.

PIA adds that it may opt to acquire additional aircraft if required.

Proposals are due on 2 July.

PIA's widebody fleet includes seven Airbus A310-300s, four Boeing 747-300s and nine 777s.
